But often I find it hard to convince my friends to change their habits, and even I sometimes end up forgetting to unplug my electronics or leaving my reusable grocery bags at home. Does global warming cause extreme weather?
Yes. Global warming increases the intensity of our weather because it causes temperatures to rise, which leads to more water evaporation. When those larger amounts of water come back down, they lead to bigger storms.
