Scott Mackay’s Commentary: Stop & Shop Strike Marked Pivotal Moment For Grocery Industry

Management at Stop & Shop and five United Food and Commercial Workers union locals have come to a tentative contract agreement, ending an 11 day strike by 31,000 workers in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Stop & Shop is New England’s largest grocery chain.
