With tens of thousands of Rhode Islanders filing for unemployment in the last few weeks, food pantries across the state have seen a huge increase in demand. Project Hand Up in West Warwick is serving four times the number of people it normally does. Joe Tasca spoke with the program’s founder Coreen St. Jean about the work she’s been doing in her community.
