Below are real-time technical updates, embedded from the engineer’s @TPRengineer@journa.host Mastodon feed. Whenever there is a problem with The Public’s Radio’s signals, webcasts, etc…or if there’s something new and interesting happening, check here first for news/info about it.

To report a signal reception issue:

  1. First visit our signals page and try any tips & tricks there.
  2. Send an email to engineer@thepublicsradio.org and include the following:
  • What FM transmitter (frequency or call letters) you were trying to listen to?
  • Was listening to another frequency any better/worse?
  • Where were you trying to listen? (approx address)
  • What was the date & time you were trying to listen? (as accurate as you can be)
  • What make & model of receiver were you using? (if it’s a stock car radio, note the year/make/model of the car)

You can also simply visit https://journa.host/@tprengineer

You don’t need to have a Mastodon account; just a web browser (desktop or mobile) will work fine.

Below is the now-depreciated @tprengineer Twitter feed, maintained for archival purposes.
