Health care is such a loaded and complicated topic. All of us are concerned about access to primary care physicians and specialists when our bodies don’t behave the way we want. The most fortunate among us have a doctor we can call when we need one. But many in our community fall between the proverbial cracks and seek help at health care clinics that serve those who are uninsured and who may have no alternative. Locally, the Rhode Island Free Clinic provides much-needed services, drawing on the remarkable dedication of volunteer health care professionals. One of them, Dr. Richard Lim, joins us today.

In addition to his volunteer work at the Rhode Island Free Clinic, Dr. Richard Lim is a physician on the staff of hospitals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
