In October last year, RIPR’s Chuck Hinman joined a group of adults learning to play stringed instruments for the first time, with the Community String Project in Bristol. Hinman has been chronicling his musical journey in our series “Striking a New Chord”.
His instrument of choice: the cello. The Adult Beginners Ensemble has been working toward their first performance to end the class. Now, with Part 3 in the series, it all comes to a close. Hinman checked in, one more time, with Rhode Island Public Radio’s news director Elisabeth Harrison.
