State Police released Thursday a series of documents from the agency’s investigation into 38 Studios. The documents do not include details from a separate grand jury probe of the failed video game company.
The newly released documents include scores of interviews with legislators and individuals connected to 38 Studios.
Company owner Curt Schilling told state police he thought lawmakers knew how $75 million was being added to a jobs program to go to 38 Studios in 2010. But the rank and file lawmakers interviewed say they were told the jobs program was meant to help a series of small businesses.
State officials announced last year that an investigation produced no criminal charges related to 38 Studios. A judge is considering whether to release grand jury documents related to the case.
