RI To Improve Boating Infrastructure With $200K In Grants

The Ocean State is slated to receive $200,000 in federal funding to improve its boating infrastructure.

The money comes from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Boating Infrastructure Grant.

Projects include support for boat tie-up facilities, which state partners will help fund with an additional $100,000 in matching funds. A total of $32 million will be awarded for these projects across the country including Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
