At the Atrium Gallery at One Capitol Hill in Providence, there is a show called “Pawtucket: A Different Perspective.” It features 520 photos from Pawtucket’s 17th Annual Photo Contest. Contestants were told to hit the streets of the city in search of their particular vision of Pawtucket.

The 12 top photos appear in Pawtucket’s 2016 calendar. This year submissions included entries by the entire 5th grade population from the public schools in the city. Sabrina Angulo from Potter-Burns school was the Mayor’s Choice winner. Pat Zacks of Camera Werks is the woman responsible for putting this contest together and bringing in the kids. The Atrium show runs until February 18th.RIPR’s Chuck Hinman talks to Pat Zacks of Camera Werks and Sabrina Angulo of Pawtucket, winner of the Mayor’s Choice Award, about the 2015 Pawtucket Photo contest.
