A set of public lectures on how humans affect and respond to environmental changes kicks off this week at the University of Rhode Island. The Metcalf Institute for Marine & Environmental Reporting is hosting this annual series.
Each day this week, scientists and public policy experts will tackle different environmental topics. They’ll range from the degree of uncertainty in climate projections to how coastal communities are dealing with climate change. The five lectures are free and open to the public.
