To our Community:

In this rapidly unfolding national emergency, we understand your need for local information is greater than ever. Today, we are launching a new section on our website to help pull together the reporting we’re doing at The Public’s Radio; the resources you may need for immediate services; and the stories–your stories–that help us all better understand the fundamental ways our world is changing. It seems to be happening by the hour.

That’s where we need your help. We’re inviting you to be part of our community in the deepest possible way, by telling us your stories. Are you a parent with kids trying to adapt to a whole new way of “going to school”? Are you a health care worker? Is your business closing? Are you weathering this out at home or do you work on the front lines, at a grocery store, a restaurant, a food bank? Do you have a story that will make us all smile? We’ll be more specific with our questions, as time goes on, but know that we want to hear from you.

In times of crisis, our roles here as journalists are crucial. We can do a better job if we’re doing our work with you, not just for you.

Thanks.
