Former Providence Journal reporter Mark Arsensault, now with The Boston Globe, has written his first nonfiction book. It’s called “The Imposter’s War.”

It’s about a ProJo editor, John R. Rathom, who helped galvanize America’s entry into World War I. The book also delves into the role of propaganda — something that remains relevant in our current moment.
