Do you support trucking tolls for tractor trailers on Rhode Island highways?Tractor trailer tolls can help as they did with I-95 in Pawtucket. Other cities have differ tolls that exceed much more then what RI will be charging. Trailers can also take an alternate route.
Would you support a state-mandated health insurance program?
Believe everyone needs to have health insurance. Medical bills are astronomical. However we need to work towards a better health insurance.
Are you in favor of expanding protections against sexual harassment to include domestic workers (such as nannies) and volunteers (such as interns)?
Absoulty, domestic workers and nannies are employees, just like anyone who works at a company. They need protections against any and all types of haressments.
If given the opportunity, would you codify the right to have an abortion in state law?
i believe in the women’s right to choice. If that is what it will take to protect women who seek abortion services, i will stand by this law. Safe legal abortions.
Is the state doing enough to help people who have been left behind by the economy? If not, what additional steps should be taken?
Is need to educate myself more in whtbthe State is doing and not doing to help.
Does primary education need to be improved statewide? If so, how?
Education is my number one important policy i want to work on. Our primary education is outdated and needs to catch up with the 21st century learning. We need duel language education, new updated curriculum.
Do you support RI’s designation as a sanctuary state? Why or why not?
I support RI as a sanctuary State. Our fellow immigrant community adds to our culture, economy, communities. We need to create programs to assist our immigrant communities to obtain correct information on how to become citizen or gain legal status. We can not stand by ICE, and allow them to tear families apart.
