The Rhode Island Historical Society continues its summer tradition of Concerts Under the Elms at the John Brown House lawn on Providence’s East Side. This 23rd season will feature music and food trucks, beginning June 20th with the kickoff concert featuring the American Band.

All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and end around 8 p.m. This summer’s lineup has Magnolia playing on June 27th; Steve Smith and the Nakeds on July 11th;The Becky Chace Band on July 18th; Driftwoods on July 25th and Neal and the Vipers on August 1st.

Admission for all shows is $10. Tickets can be bought at the site. The John Brown House is located off Benefit Street at 52 Power Street. There is street parking. Concertgoers can bring coolers, chairs and blankets, but pets are not permitted.
