Artscape: Exhibit Highlights Pawtucket Artists

Published

Last week, The Public’s Radio focused attention on Pawtucket for our series One Square Mile. One of the themes we focused on was the city’s 20-year effort to attract artists and related small businesses to help fill the many vacant mill buildings, and in doing so spark a so-called Arts Economy. For this month’s Artscape, Chuck Hinman returned to Pawtucket for a major arts event in the city: the 12th Annual Pawtucket Foundation Prize Exhibition. The show runs from March 28th through May 2nd at the Mill Gallery, inside the Lorraine Mills building at 560 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket. More information about the exhibition is available here...
