If elected, what will be the candidate’s top three priorities?

As a legislator and organizer, Aaron has brought diverse coalitions together to win real change, like giving Rhode Island’s tipped workers their first pay raise in 20 years, creating new clean energy programs to expand renewable energy in every city and town, and guaranteeing paid sick days for over 100,000 Rhode Islanders who never before had that security. Aaron is running for Lieutenant Governor to end backroom deals and corruption in the State House, fight for universal healthcare for all Rhode Islanders, and pass legislation defending a woman’s right to choose.

How would the candidate support small businesses in Rhode Island?

As Lieutenant Governor, Aaron will work to put small businesses at the front and center of state economic development. That means fighting to ensure state resources aren’t just going to big companies, but are being invested in small businesses across Rhode Island. It means passing tax reforms like a graduated corporate minimum, so that mom and pop stores aren’t paying the same amount as Walmart and CVS. And it means pushing every state agency to examine operating procedures to make interactions with new and existing businesses as easy and stress-free as possible.
