Former Rhode Island Governor, Lincoln Chafee has dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination for President. Chafee made the announcement at the Democratic National Convention, Women’s Leadership Forum Friday morning.
He stated his intentions within the first minutes of his speech saying, “Now as you may know, I’ve been campaigning on a platform of ‘Prosperity Through Peace,’ but after much thought, I’ve decided to end my campaign for President today.”
