Congressman David Cicilline is calling on President Trump to denounce a series of threats against Jewish Community Centers in Providence and elsewhere.
In a statement, Cicilline also points to vandalism targeting Jewish cemeteries in St. Louis and Philadelphia.
The Democratic congressman says President Trump should condemn these actions in the strongest terms. Cicilline says Trump should direct law enforcement resources to find those responsible for the threats and vandalism.
The Providence JCC was found to be clear of any type of explosive device after being swept by police Monday.
